Frequently Asked Questions
How long does an evaluation take?
It depends on age and complexity—it may take 3–6 hours of testing plus interview and feedback sessions, spread across several appointments.
Will you diagnose me or my child?
Yes, when clinical criteria are met. Even if a formal diagnosis is not rendered, you’ll get rich insight and recommendations.
Can you work with schools and IEPs?
Yes. After the evaluation, I can assist in providing recommendations and communicating findings to schools, as needed.
Is testing anxiety or stress accounted for?
Absolutely. I take care to structure sessions to minimize fatigue or frustration and interpret results in context.
Can a neuropsychological evaluation assist with receiving SAT or ACT accommodations?
Yes. Our reports include the documentation required for extended time and other accommodations on the SAT, ACT, LSAT, MCAT, GRE, and GMAT, as well as college and university disability services applications.
Can the assessment assist with receiving school accommodations?
Yes. Our reports meet the requirements for IEP eligibility, 504 plans, and extended time at the K–12 and college level. We serve students in private and public schools across Dallas ISD, Fort Worth ISD, Keller ISD, and surrounding districts.
